Healing after Bomb Drop: Finding Calm in the Chaos of Midlife Crisis

October 8th 4 PM Pacific Time - $37

When your spouse’s midlife crisis explodes into your life, it doesn’t just shake your marriage—it can stir up unresolved childhood trauma and leave you flooded with emotional flashbacks. Suddenly, you may find yourself reacting in ways that feel confusing or out of control—extra anxious, overly sensitive, or swept into the chaotic behavior around you.

In this workshop, Erin (a licensed psychologist) will help you connect the dots between your partner’s crisis and your own triggered responses. You’ll walk away with tools to calm your nervous system, steady yourself emotionally, and create stability in the middle of uncertainty.

You’ll discover:

  • What complex trauma really is: An easy-to-understand look at how unresolved childhood trauma can quietly shape how you show up in relationships today.

  • Why midlife crisis feels so triggering: How “bomb drop” can reopen old wounds, causing emotional flashbacks and amplifying the chaotic behavior that’s happening in your home.

  • Ways to calm your body and mind: Simple, proven techniques to help you regulate your emotions when your partner’s actions feel overwhelming.

  • How to protect your kids from the fallout: Why your healing work matters not just for you, but also for creating steadiness and safety for your children.

  • When to seek professional help: What trauma-informed therapy looks like and how to know when it’s time to reach out for extra support.

You’ll also receive:

  • A downloadable workbook with guided exercises to practice emotional regulation at home.

  • A curated list of resources so you can keep growing in your healing journey.

If I hadn’t done it myself, I probably wouldn’t believe it was possible.

When my husband moved out, after 23 years of marriage, I found myself in a dark hole. I was curled up in the fetal position and I just couldn’t find motivation to do anything. And while I tried to be strong for my kids, I didn’t feel as strong as everyone was telling me I looked… instead, I felt robotic, hollow and worried that my best days were behind me. I wanted to love life again but I didn’t know how. I wanted to stand for my marriage even though everyone was telling me to leave it.

Fortunately I discovered life coaching and transformation through trauma. The tools were so powerful that I decided to devote my career to helping other left behind spouses genuinely love their lives again, too. None of us need to settle for a “new normal” that’s less than what we want and that includes you!.
