The 5 Things Every Woman

Needs to Know

When the Marriage You Thought Was Solid Starts Falling Apart

A free, live workshop for women who feel blindsided, unsteady, and desperate for clarity - without being told to “just move on.”

Date: Saturday, January 24: 8:00 am PST, 9:00 am MT, 10:00 am CST, 11:00 am EST

If your marriage used to feel solid… and now everything feels uncertain…

You never imagined this in a million years. You were the “it” couple - the ones who would last forever

One day you were planning vacations, talking about retirement, managing life together - and the next, you’re replaying every conversation in your head wondering,

“What just happened?”

Your husband is physically there… but emotionally gone.

He’s distant, distracted, or suddenly “needs space.”

Conversations turn cold, confusing, or go nowhere.

You second-guess everything you say - or stop saying anything at all.

The rules of your marriage changed.

No meeting.

No warning.

No vote.

And now your brain is stuck on repeat:

  • What is actually happening?

  • Why does he feel like a stranger?

  • Is this stress… depression… a tumor… a phase… or something bigger?

  • Am I making this worse without realizing it?

  • How am I supposed to function when nothing feels stable?

This workshop is for the woman who knows something is deeply off -

  • who’s tired of being told to “just focus on yourself” or “give it time” -

  • who wants real understanding, steadiness, and clarity instead.

The 5 Things Every Woman Needs to Know when her marriage starts falling apart

  1. Why this isn’t a communication problem -and why “talking it out” often backfires

  2. What’s happening in your brain that makes everything feel urgent, obsessive, and overwhelming

  3. Why what you do right now matters more than what he’s doing

  4. How the “old rules” of marriage stop working in crisis - without meaning the marriage is over

  5. How to stabilize yourself emotionally so you don’t lose you in the process

This is not about fixing him.
It’s about grounding you - so you can move forward with clarity, strength, and self-trust.

This workshop is for you if:

You’ve been married 15+ years and feel blindsided by how quickly things changed

  • You wake up and immediately start checking your phone… then spiral for 45 minutes feel anxious, unsteady, or stuck in overthinking

  • You don’t know which version of him you’re going to get today

  • You’re tired of advice that jumps straight to divorce or “focus on yourself” without context

  • You get hopeful when he’s kind… then crash later

  • You want to stand for your marriage without abandoning yourself

  • You need someone to explain this in a way that actually makes sense

  • You feel foolish for staying and terrified of letting go

  • You can’t believe this is your life right now

Hi, I’m Amy

I’m the founder of Standing Spouses and the author of
What’s Wrong With My Husband? — a lifeline for women surviving their husband’s midlife crisis.

We’ve lived this season.
Between my own experience and the women who walk alongside you here, we understand the shock, the grief, the confusion - and the deep loneliness of feeling like no one truly understands what you’re dealing with.

I don’t do this work alone. I’m supported by an incredible team - Grace and Jenn, who you’ll see inside our workshops and community. They’ve lived through this too, and today both of their husbands are home. They bring steadiness, wisdom, and real-life perspective to this work every single day.
And Erin, our licensed psychologist, helps shape so much of what we teach behind the scenes

Standing Spouses exists because women deserve clarity, support, and hope - not pressure, shame, or one-size-fits-all advice.

What happens after the workshop?

At the end of the session, we’ll share how you can continue this work inside Resilient Hearts - our ongoing support program for women navigating this season.

There’s no pressure to join.
The workshop alone will give you clarity and grounding -whether you take another step or not.
