You have learned about midlife crisis but you still do not feel okay
You may already understand that your husband is in a midlife crisis. You may have listened to podcasts, joined groups, read everything you could find, and tried to follow all the advice.
Give him space. Do not chase. Avoid relationship talks. Stop checking. Focus on yourself.
But knowing those things and being able to live them when your marriage feels uncertain are two very different things.
When he pulls away, contacts the other woman, changes his mind, acts warm one day and distant the next, your brain still goes straight into fear.
You analyze every text. You search for clues. You wonder what his behavior means and whether your marriage has any chance.
Personal support for the real moments you’re actually living.
The Survival to Strength VIP Signature Coaching and Support Program is our most personal level of support inside Resilient Hearts™. This year-long program begins with six months of private 1:1 coaching, practical tools, and personalized guidance -while your Resilient Hearts™ membership, group coaching, community, and ongoing support continue for the full 12 months.
We are not going to spend a year trying to control your husband or predict the ending. No coach can honestly promise that your husband will come home or guarantee what will happen in your marriage.
Our process:
Our step-by-step process helps you understand your husband’s crisis, separate yourself from the emotional chaos, and stay connected without chasing, convincing, or losing yourself. Through personalized coaching, you’ll learn how to manage your thoughts, regulate your emotions, communicate differently, and hold space for your marriage without putting your own life on hold.
Unlike advice that simply tells you to give him space or wait for him to change, we help you apply these tools to the real-life moments that are breaking your heart.
You’ll receive coaching from me, Erin, Jenn, and Grace-four women who have personally navigated a husband’s midlife crisis and bring different experiences, strengths and perspectives to your support. We truly understand what you’re facing. Erin also brings her professional background as a licensed psychologist, although all services within this program are coaching—not psychological treatment or therapy. Together, we’ll help you spend less time consumed by your husband and/or the affair partner, recover more quickly when something happens, enjoy your life again, and eventually become okay whether he comes home or not.
What if his crisis stopped controlling your entire day?
Imagine waking up without your first thought immediately being about him.
Imagine receiving a difficult text and knowing how to pause before reacting.
Imagine no longer allowing his mood, his contact, or his choices to determine whether you are allowed to have a good day.
Imagine feeling calmer in your own home, concentrating at work again, enjoying small moments, and making decisions from clarity instead of panic.
From survival to strength.
Inside Survival to Strength VIP, we help you make sense of what is happening, separate yourself from his crisis, and feel steadier in your own life.
Understand the crisis.
Separate yourself from it.
Stay connected without chasing.
Hold space without putting your life on hold.
Live well in uncertainty.
A Full Year of Coaching, Education, Community, and Support
Survival to Strength VIP is a 12-month signature support program designed to help you move from simply surviving your husband’s midlife crisis to feeling steadier, stronger, and more confident in yourself and your future.
You will not receive one isolated solution and then be left to figure out the rest on your own.
You will have three essential layers of support:
Learn the tools
A comprehensive, self-paced course to help you understand what is happening and learn the tools you need
Apply them to your life
Personalized coaching to help you apply those tools to the situations unfolding in your life
Don’t do it alone
An ongoing community where you can receive support from women who understand this experience
Personalized support when you need it most.
1. Six Months of Weekly Private Coaching
During your first six months, you will receive one 45 min private coaching session every week.
Three sessions each month will be with Amy. For your fourth session, you may choose to work with Grace, Jenn, or Erin.
Private coaching gives you a place to bring the real situations happening in your life and receive guidance specific to you.
You will not have to wonder:
- Am I giving him space or emotionally withdrawing?
- Should I say something or let this go?
- Is this a boundary or an attempt to control him?
- How do I respond without making the situation worse?
- How do I stop obsessing about him and the other woman?
- How can I stand for my marriage without abandoning myself?
Instead of trying to apply general advice to a complicated situation by yourself, you will have someone help you slow everything down, see what may be difficult to recognize in the moment, and choose your response intentionally.
2. The Complete Hope Beyond Heartbreak Course
Private coaching helps you with what is happening right now. Hope Beyond Heartbreak helps you understand the larger journey and build the skills that will support you throughout it.
You will receive immediate, on-demand access to more than 300 short lessons, worksheets, and practical thought tools created specifically for women navigating a husband’s midlife crisis.
The course is completely self-paced. You can begin with the lessons most relevant to what you are facing today, work through the full process in order, and return to individual topics whenever a new situation arises.
The lessons are intentionally short and manageable because when your mind is already overwhelmed, you do not need another three-hour course telling you to “focus on yourself.”
You need practical help you can use today.
Inside Hope Beyond Heartbreak, you will learn how to:
- Understand midlife crisis and recognize why his behavior may feel so confusing and contradictory
- Separate his crisis, choices, and emotions from your identity and worth
- Manage your mind when it wants to analyze every conversation, search for clues, or predict the future
- Handle fear, anger, jealousy, and grief without stuffing them down or allowing them to determine what you do next
- Detach with love without becoming cold, punishing, or emotionally unavailable
- Stop chasing, convincing, mothering, controlling, and overfunctioning
- Know what to say - and when to stop talking - so you can communicate without pushing him further away
- Set boundaries based on what you will do rather than using them to control what he does
- Navigate separation, limbo, limited contact, the other woman, and the uncertainty of not knowing what will happen
- Reconnect with who you are outside his crisis
- Begin creating a life you genuinely want to live-whether he returns or not
You will not have to remember everything you have ever been taught when a difficult situation happens. You can return to the exact lesson or tool you need, as often as you need it.
The course gives you the foundation. Your private coaching helps you apply it. Together, they help you create lasting change instead of relying on temporary reassurance.
3. A Full Year Inside the Resilient Hearts™ Membership
You will spend a full year inside the Resilient Hearts™ Membership -a private coaching and support program created specifically for women navigating a husband’s midlife crisis.
The membership provides continued guidance throughout your year, so you can keep practicing what you are learning and receive help as new situations arise.
Inside Resilient Hearts™, you will receive:
- Live group coaching calls
- Access to the complete coaching replay library
- New lessons based on what members are currently experiencing
Continued Access to The Hope Beyond Heartbreak Course
Throughout your full year inside Resilient Hearts™, you will continue to have access to the complete Hope Beyond Heartbreak course. This allows you to revisit the tools and lessons as your circumstances change and new situations arise.
A Private Community Where You Are Not Alone
You will also have access to a private community outside Facebook where you can ask questions, share what you are experiencing, and receive support without publicly broadcasting your journey.
This is a community of women who understand why you still love him, why you may want to stand for your marriage, and why the decisions in front of you are not always simple.
The community gives you support between coaching sessions and reminds you that you do not have to navigate this alone.
Personalized Coaching for Your Real Life
Your coaching will not be a generic lesson about what a standing spouse “should” do.
We will work with the actual situations unfolding in your life, including:
- What to say -or not say-when he is distant, angry, confused, or rewriting the marriage
- How to navigate contact, separation, limbo, the other woman, anniversaries, holidays, and family events
- How to stop checking, chasing, pain shopping, overexplaining, and trying to manage his emotions
- How to set boundaries without using them to control his behavior
- How to communicate in ways that reduce pressure and create greater emotional safety
- How to manage the thoughts creating panic, hopelessness, jealousy, anger, and fear
- How to regulate your emotions so that you can respond intentionally instead of reacting in the moment
- How to reconnect with yourself and begin building a meaningful life beyond the crisis
Some weeks, you may need help responding to something that happened yesterday. Other weeks, we may look beneath what happened and work on why his mood still determines your mood, why you feel responsible for fixing everything, why it is so hard to stop checking, or how much of yourself you have lost while trying to save your marriage.
Meet Your Coaching Team
A Team That Understands This From More Than One Angle
All four of us have personally experienced a husband’s midlife crisis, but our journeys have taken different paths. That means you’ll receive support from women who understand different parts of this journey - from separation and uncertainty to reconnection and rebuilding. We all follow the same approach, so you won’t be left wondering whose advice to follow.
Amy is a certified life coach through The Life Coach School. She has lived through her husband’s midlife crisis, divorce, and the work of creating a meaningful life while still holding hope and maintaining a connection with him. She knows firsthand that you can leave room for what’s possible without putting your own life on hold.
Grace and Jenn bring the lived experience of husbands who returned, along with an honest understanding of reconnection and rebuilding a marriage after midlife crisis.
Erin is a licensed psychologist who is also personally navigating her husband’s midlife crisis. She brings both her lived experience and her understanding of human behavior to her role as a coach within this program.
Together, we can help you step back from the intensity of what is happening, recognize what you may not be able to see while you are in the middle of it, and decide what you want your next step to be.
Although Erin is a licensed psychologist, her role within Survival to Strength VIP is as a coach. She does not provide psychotherapy, psychological diagnosis, or mental health treatment through this program. Participation does not establish a psychologist-client relationship.
Survival to Strength VIP

Private coaching helps you apply those tools to your marriage, your thoughts, and the situations unfolding in your life. The membership and community provide the ongoing guidance, encouragement, and connection you need to keep moving forward.
Together, these layers of support help you spend less time overthinking, spiral less, react less when something happens, recover more quickly after a difficult day, know how to communicate with him, and make decisions from a calmer, clearer place.

I don’t feel like I’m wasting my life anymore.
For months, I was trying to make sense of what was happening. I had learned about MLC. I had joined various groups. I was, for the most part, aware of what was happening and tried to understand the different things I was experiencing. I navigated periods of contact and no contact, tried to make sense of his behaviour, and did my best to figure out what I should and shouldn’t be doing.
And yet… I didn’t really get it and something didn’t feel right at all. I couldn’t really put my finger on what was missing. I just knew I needed more help. Looking back, I think it was the focus on myself that I hadn’t truly understood. Focusing on yourself isn’t just about trying not to think about him. It isn’t simply about having no contact or distracting yourself until you stop checking your phone.
It’s about getting out there. Your life. Your choices. Your dreams. It’s about actually going and living them.
And this is where having a coach who truly understands what you’re going through made such a difference for me. There is something incredibly valuable about talking to someone who already understands the situation. Someone who doesn’t need you to explain every detail especially when you can’t even explain it yourself. You can say something that probably sounds completely irrational to everyone else, and she just gets it. She listens. She hears what you’re saying. And she helps put together the pieces that you simply can’t see yourself. She also helped me focus when my mind was going in ten different directions. And she didn’t get annoyed when I came back and told her the same thing again. Because sometimes you need to say the same thing five times before you finally hear it yourself. But she also wasn’t afraid to tell me what she actually thought. I needed that, all of it.
I needed someone who could understand me without simply agreeing with everything I said. Someone who could challenge me, bring me back to myself, and help me see things from a different perspective. And slowly, things changed. I realised that putting myself first and building a new life isn’t selfish. It doesn’t mean I agree with what happened. It doesn’t mean I don’t care. And it certainly doesn’t mean I have to stop loving someone. It means I have to accept that his choices are his choices. But my life is still mine. I can follow my dreams. I can create new experiences. I can laugh again. I can get excited about things again. I can build a life that I actually want to live. And the more happiness and excitement I have in my own life, the less I find myself focusing on what he is or isn’t doing.
That doesn’t mean I’ve had to close every door. It simply means I’m no longer standing at the door waiting for someone else to decide what happens to my life. And perhaps one of the biggest gifts of all is that I don’t feel like I’m wasting my life anymore. If he never comes back, I will have lived. And if one day he does come back, and I decide I do also want to start new with him, I won’t have to look back and resent him for all the years I lost waiting. Because I will have lived them.
Asking for help was one of the hardest — and best — things I did. Could I have managed without coaching? Probably, somehow. But I don’t think I would have done it in the same way. Not at the same speed. And definitely not without a lot more wasted time, most likely years.
So if you’re a woman considering getting support, my advice is simple: Don’t wait. You don’t have to know exactly what you need help with. And you don’t have to be able to explain everything you’re feeling. Sometimes you just need someone who understands, listens, helps you make sense of the pieces, keeps you focused, and is willing to tell you what she really thinks when you need to hear it.
For me, that made all the difference.”
Amy helps me reclaim my peace amid his chaos.
When I first started with Amy’s group, I was really struggling with how to react to my husbands MLC. I didn’t know how I was supposed to act, what I should be saying, or what I should be doing. I knew that my husband was in MLC, but that’s all I knew. Amy explained what was happening and why it was happening to my husband. She explained how his actions and words were related to MLC. She offered guidance on how to respond to my husband, but more than that, she offered guidance on how I could heal. She teaches me how to reframe my thoughts in order to control my feelings and emotions, thereby changing my actions. She helps me reclaim my peace amid his chaos. Amy has extensive coaching knowledge and extensive MLC knowledge. Her coaching calls are very personalized and she offers suggestions and guidance that make sense. Her group is like always having a ‘phone a friend’ option. It feels like a community of women helping women get through this difficult time in our lives.”
I Know What It Feels Like to Lose Yourself in His Crisis
Five years ago, I was lying on my bathroom floor at 2:00 in the morning, sobbing so hard I could barely breathe.
I had just undergone surgery for melanoma that left me with a scar running from my eye to my chin. I was physically hurting, frightened, and emotionally exhausted. I looked like Frankenstein.
I wanted my husband -the man who had always been my person -to come save me.
But he was off with her.
After 22 years of marriage, I no longer recognized my husband, my marriage, or even myself. I was constantly analyzing his behavior, searching for answers, and trying to figure out what I could say or do to bring him back.
That night, on the bathroom floor, I made myself a promise:
Because no woman should have to survive this alone.
Coaching changed my life. It taught me how to manage my mind, regulate my emotions, stop making his choices mean something about my worth, and begin finding myself again.
I became a certified life coach through The Life Coach School so I could teach other women the tools that helped me move from the bathroom floor to becoming calm, confident, and whole again.
Since then, I have helped hundreds of women navigate their husband’s midlife crisis through private coaching, courses, workshops, and the Resilient Hearts™ community.
My marriage did not have the same outcome as Grace’s or Jenn’s. My husband didn’t come home, and our marriage ended in divorce.
But I also know my story may not be over.
I don’t know what the future holds for us -and I no longer need to know in order to live a meaningful life today. I can hold space for possibility without putting my life on hold.
That gives me a very specific perspective.
I understand what it means to love your husband and hope for your marriage. I also understand that you cannot place your emotional well-being-and your entire life-in his hands while waiting to see what he decides.
I will never promise that I can bring your husband home. No one can control another person’s journey.
What I can do is help you stop spinning in his crisis, change the way you think and respond, communicate with greater intention, and begin creating a life in which you can be okay—whether he returns or not.
I’m going to help you stop giving up on yourself.
Questions before you join?
Are payment options available?
Yes. You may pay $6,000 in full or select Klarna at checkout for monthly payment options.
Eligibility and payment terms for monthly financing are determined by Klarna.
How do I know if Survival to Strength VIP is right for me?
This program is designed for women who have spent 15 years or more building a life with their husband and now believe he may be experiencing a midlife crisis.
You may understand what is happening intellectually but still struggle to manage your thoughts and emotions when he becomes distant, says something hurtful, or makes another confusing choice.
You do not need to have everything figured out. You simply need to be open to coaching, willing to consider that there may be a different way to think about and respond to what is happening, and ready to begin feeling better even if your husband does not change right away.
How will this appear on my billing statement?
We understand that privacy can be especially important when you are navigating your husband’s midlife crisis.
Your payment will appear as Amy Lawrence Brand on your billing statement. It will not reference Survival to Strength VIP, Resilient Hearts™, midlife crisis, or marriage support.
Why does the program last a full year?
A midlife crisis can be a long, unpredictable process—often unfolding over many years—and both you and your husband may move through different phases along the way.
What you need during withdrawal or separation may be very different from what you need during increased contact, reconnection, or rebuilding. Each phase can bring new questions, emotions, and decisions -even when you thought you had finally found your footing.
Understanding the tools is only the beginning. Learning how to quiet the thoughts that send you spinning, handle painful emotions, know what to say, and respond to each new phase without losing yourself takes time, practice, and support.
Your first six months include weekly private coaching so you receive close, personalized help while building these skills. You will then continue inside the Resilient Hearts™ Membership for the remainder of your year, so we are still there to support you as circumstances change and new challenges arise.
You cannot control how long his journey takes or which phase comes next, but you do not have to spend those years feeling stuck in survival mode - or trying to navigate every change alone.
Do I need to know for certain that my husband is experiencing a midlife crisis?
No. Many women come to us because their husband’s personality, priorities, or behavior have changed so dramatically that they no longer recognize the man they married.
Instead of asking you to prove or diagnose exactly what is happening with him, we will help you understand what is happening to you, decide how you want to respond, and focus on the parts of your life you can do something about.
Is this program only for women who are committed to staying married?
No. You do not have to decide the future of your marriage before joining.
You may want to stand for your marriage, feel uncertain about staying, or simply need help making decisions from a steadier place. We will not pressure you to stay or tell you to leave. We will help you understand your options, reconnect with yourself, and make intentional decisions based on what is right for you.
What happens during private coaching?
You bring the situations that are creating the most pain, confusion, or uncertainty in your life.
We may work on a conversation you need to have, a boundary you are considering, your reaction to something your husband did, or the thoughts keeping you stuck in fear, anger, jealousy, or hopelessness.
Some sessions will address what happened yesterday. Others will focus on deeper patterns, your identity, and the life you want to create moving forward.
Is this therapy?
No. Survival to Strength VIP is a coaching and educational program. It is not psychotherapy, mental health counseling, crisis intervention, or a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.
Coaching focuses on helping you understand your thoughts and emotions, apply practical tools, change unhelpful patterns, communicate more intentionally, and decide how you want to move forward.
If you need clinical mental health care, medical care, legal advice, or crisis support, we will encourage you to seek help from an appropriately licensed professional.
What if I’m already in therapy?
You can participate in coaching while also working with a therapist, provided your therapist believes it is appropriate for you.
Therapy and coaching can serve different purposes. Your therapist may help you address mental health concerns or past trauma, while our coaching focuses specifically on helping you navigate your husband’s midlife crisis and apply practical tools to your current life.
Are replays available if I can’t attend the live group coaching calls?
Yes. Replays are available for all group coaching calls and are typically uploaded to the Resilient Hearts™ Hub within one business day, so you can watch whenever it works for you.
You do not have to spend another year waiting for his crisis to decide whether you get to live.
You can love him, leave room for hope, and begin building a life that feels like yours again.
