Survival to Strength VIP
A 12-month signature coaching and support program
For women navigating their husband’s midlife crisis.
- Tired of overthinking and obsessing?
- Worried you’re pushing your husband away?
- Ruminating about the affair partner?
You have learned about midlife crisis—but you still do not feel okay.
You may already understand that your husband is in a midlife crisis. You may have listened to podcasts, joined groups, read everything you could find, and tried to follow all the advice.
Give him space. Do not chase. Avoid relationship talks. Stop checking. Focus on yourself.
But knowing those things and being able to live them when your marriage feels uncertain are two very different things.
When he pulls away, contacts the other woman, changes his mind, acts warm one day and distant the next, your brain still goes straight into fear.
You analyze every text. You search for clues. You wonder what his behavior means and whether your marriage has any chance.
Personal support for the real moments you’re actually living.
The Survival to Strength VIP Signature Coaching and Support Program is our most personal level of support inside Resilient Hearts™.
This year-long program begins with six months of private 1:1 coaching, practical tools, and personalized guidance—while your Resilient Hearts™ membership, group coaching, community, and ongoing support continue for the full 12 months.
We are not going to spend a year trying to control your husband or predict the ending. No coach can honestly promise that your husband will come home or guarantee what will happen in your marriage.
What if his crisis stopped controlling your entire day?
Imagine waking up without your first thought immediately being about him.
Imagine receiving a difficult text and knowing how to pause before reacting.
Imagine no longer allowing his mood, contact, or choices to determine whether you are allowed to have a good day.
Imagine feeling calmer at home, concentrating at work again, enjoying small moments, and making decisions from clarity instead of panic.
From survival to strength.
Understand the crisis.
Separate yourself from it.
Stay connected without chasing.
Hold space without putting your life on hold.
Live well in uncertainty.
A full year of coaching, education, community, and support.
Survival to Strength VIP is designed to help you move from simply surviving your husband’s midlife crisis to feeling steadier, stronger, and more confident in yourself and your future.
Learn the tools
A comprehensive, self-paced course to help you understand what is happening and learn practical tools you can use.
Apply them to your life
Personalized coaching to help you apply those tools to the situations actually unfolding in your marriage and your life.
Don’t do it alone
Ongoing community, group coaching, and support from women who understand this experience.
Close support when you need it most.
1. Six months of weekly private coaching
During your first six months, you will receive one 45-minute private coaching session every week.
Three sessions each month will be with Amy. For your fourth session, you may choose to work with Grace, Jenn, or Erin.
Private coaching gives you a place to bring the real situations happening in your life and receive guidance specific to you.
You will not have to wonder:
- Am I giving him space or emotionally withdrawing?
- Should I say something or let this go?
- Is this a boundary or an attempt to control him?
- How do I respond without making the situation worse?
- How do I stop obsessing about him and the other woman?
- How can I stand for my marriage without abandoning myself?
Instead of trying to apply general advice to a complicated situation by yourself, you will have someone help you slow everything down, see what may be difficult to recognize in the moment, and choose your response intentionally.
Meet your coaching team
You’ll receive coaching from Amy, Erin, Jenn, and Grace—four women who have personally navigated a husband’s midlife crisis and bring different experiences, strengths, and perspectives to your support.
All four have personally experienced a husband’s midlife crisis, but their journeys have taken different paths. That means you’ll receive support from women who understand different parts of this journey—from separation and uncertainty to reconnection and rebuilding.
Amy is a certified life coach through The Life Coach School. She has lived through her husband’s midlife crisis, divorce, and the work of creating a meaningful life on the other side.
Grace and Jenn bring the lived experience of husbands who returned, along with an honest understanding of reconnection and rebuilding a marriage after midlife crisis.
Erin is a licensed psychologist who is also personally navigating her husband’s midlife crisis. She brings both her lived experience and her understanding of human behavior to her role as a coach within this program.
Although Erin is a licensed psychologist, her role within Survival to Strength VIP is as a coach. She does not provide psychotherapy, psychological diagnosis, or mental health treatment through this program.
Personalized coaching for your real life
Your coaching will not be a generic lesson about what a standing spouse “should” do.
We will work with the actual situations unfolding in your life, including:
- What to say—or not say—when he is distant, angry, confused, or rewriting the marriage
- How to navigate contact, separation, limbo, the other woman, anniversaries, holidays, and family events
- How to stop checking, chasing, pain shopping, overexplaining, and trying to manage his emotions
- How to set boundaries without using them to control his behavior
- How to communicate in ways that reduce pressure and create greater emotional safety
- How to manage thoughts creating panic, hopelessness, jealousy, anger, and fear
- How to regulate your emotions so you can respond intentionally instead of reacting
- How to reconnect with yourself and begin building a meaningful life beyond the crisis
Some weeks, you may need help responding to something that happened yesterday. Other weeks, we may look beneath what happened and work on why his mood still determines your mood, why you feel responsible for fixing everything, why it is so hard to stop checking, or how much of yourself you have lost while trying to save your marriage.
2. The complete Hope Beyond Heartbreak course
Private coaching helps you with what is happening right now. Hope Beyond Heartbreak helps you understand the larger journey and build the skills that will support you throughout it.
You will receive immediate, on-demand access to more than 300 short lessons, worksheets, and practical thought tools created specifically for women navigating a husband’s midlife crisis.
The course is completely self-paced. You can begin with the lessons most relevant to what you are facing today, work through the full process in order, and return to individual topics whenever a new situation arises.
The lessons are intentionally short and manageable because when your mind is already overwhelmed, you do not need another three-hour course telling you to “focus on yourself.”
You need practical help you can use today.
- Understand midlife crisis and why his behavior may feel so confusing and contradictory
- Separate his crisis, choices, and emotions from your identity and worth
- Manage your mind when it wants to analyze every conversation or search for clues
- Handle fear, anger, jealousy, and grief without letting them determine what you do next
- Detach with love without becoming cold, punishing, or emotionally unavailable
- Stop chasing, convincing, mothering, controlling, and overfunctioning
- Know what to say—and when to stop talking
- Set boundaries based on what you will do rather than controlling what he does
- Navigate separation, limbo, limited contact, the other woman, and uncertainty
- Reconnect with who you are outside his crisis
- Begin creating a life you genuinely want to live—whether he returns or not
The course gives you the foundation. Your private coaching helps you apply it. Together, they help you create lasting change instead of relying on temporary reassurance.
3. A full year inside Resilient Hearts™
You will spend a full year inside the Resilient Hearts™ Membership—a private coaching and support program created specifically for women navigating a husband’s midlife crisis.

This is a community of women who understand why you still love him, why you may want to stand for your marriage, and why the decisions in front of you are not always simple.
The community gives you support between coaching sessions and reminds you that you do not have to navigate this alone.

Support can change how you experience this journey.
I don’t feel like I’m wasting my life anymore.
For months, I was trying to make sense of what was happening. I had learned about MLC, joined various groups, and tried to understand what I should and shouldn’t be doing.
And yet, I didn’t really get it. Looking back, I think it was the focus on myself that I hadn’t truly understood.
Having a coach who truly understands what you’re going through made such a difference. Someone who doesn’t need you to explain every detail. Someone who listens, helps put together the pieces you can’t see yourself, and brings you back to yourself.
I realised that putting myself first and building a new life isn’t selfish. My life is still mine. I can follow my dreams. I can laugh again. I can build a life I actually want to live.
If he never comes back, I will have lived. And if one day he does come back, I won’t have to resent him for all the years I lost waiting—because I will have lived them.
Amy helps me reclaim my peace amid his chaos.
When I first started with Amy’s group, I was really struggling with how to react to my husband’s MLC. I didn’t know how I was supposed to act, what I should be saying, or what I should be doing.
Amy explained what was happening and why it was happening. She offered guidance on how to respond to my husband, but more than that, she offered guidance on how I could heal.
She teaches me how to reframe my thoughts in order to control my feelings and emotions, thereby changing my actions.
Her coaching calls are very personalized and she offers suggestions and guidance that make sense. Her group is like always having a “phone a friend” option.
I know what it feels like to lose yourself in his crisis.
Five years ago, I was lying on my bathroom floor at 2:00 in the morning, sobbing so hard I could barely breathe.
I had just undergone surgery for melanoma that left me with a scar running from my eye to my chin. I was physically hurting, frightened, and emotionally exhausted.
I wanted my husband—the man who had always been my person—to come save me.
But he was off with her.
After 22 years of marriage, I no longer recognized my husband, my marriage, or even myself.
Coaching changed my life. It taught me how to manage my mind, regulate my emotions, stop making his choices mean something about my worth, and begin finding myself again.
I became a certified life coach through The Life Coach School so I could teach other women the tools that helped me move from the bathroom floor to becoming calm, confident, and whole again.
Since then, I have helped hundreds of women navigate their husband’s midlife crisis through private coaching, courses, workshops, and the Resilient Hearts™ community.
My marriage did not have the same outcome as Grace’s or Jenn’s. My husband didn’t come home, and our marriage ended in divorce.
But I also know my story may not be over.
I don’t know what the future holds for us—and I no longer need to know in order to live a meaningful life today.
I can hold space for possibility without putting my life on hold.
I will never promise that I can bring your husband home. No one can control another person’s journey.
I’m going to help you stop giving up on yourself.

Are payment options available?

How do I know if Survival to Strength VIP is right for me?
This program is designed for women who have spent 15 years or more building a life with their husband and now believe he may be experiencing a midlife crisis.
You may understand what is happening intellectually but still struggle to manage your thoughts and emotions when he becomes distant, says something hurtful, or makes another confusing choice.
You do not need to have everything figured out. You simply need to be open to coaching, willing to consider that there may be a different way to think about and respond to what is happening, and ready to begin feeling better even if your husband does not change right away.
How will this appear on my billing statement?
We understand that privacy can be especially important when you are navigating your husband’s midlife crisis.
Your payment will appear as Amy Lawrence Coaching on your billing statement.
It will not reference Survival to Strength VIP, Resilient Hearts™, midlife crisis, or marriage support.
Why does the program last a full year?
A midlife crisis can be a long, unpredictable process—often unfolding over many years—and both you and your husband may move through different phases along the way.
What you need during withdrawal or separation may be very different from what you need during increased contact, reconnection, or rebuilding.
Understanding the tools is only the beginning. Learning how to quiet the thoughts that send you spinning, handle painful emotions, know what to say, and respond to each new phase without losing yourself takes time, practice, and support.
Your first six months include weekly private coaching. You then continue inside the Resilient Hearts™ Membership for the remainder of your year.
Do I need to know for certain that my husband is experiencing a midlife crisis?
No. Many women come to us because their husband’s personality, priorities, or behavior have changed so dramatically that they no longer recognize the man they married.
Instead of asking you to prove or diagnose exactly what is happening with him, we will help you understand what is happening to you, decide how you want to respond, and focus on the parts of your life you can do something about.
Is this program only for women committed to staying married?
No. You do not have to decide the future of your marriage before joining.
You may want to stand for your marriage, feel uncertain about staying, or simply need help making decisions from a steadier place.
We will not pressure you to stay or tell you to leave. We will help you understand your options, reconnect with yourself, and make intentional decisions based on what is right for you.
What happens during private coaching?
You bring the situations that are creating the most pain, confusion, or uncertainty in your life.
We may work on a conversation you need to have, a boundary you are considering, your reaction to something your husband did, or the thoughts keeping you stuck in fear, anger, jealousy, or hopelessness.
Some sessions will address what happened yesterday. Others will focus on deeper patterns, your identity, and the life you want to create moving forward.
Is this therapy?
No. Survival to Strength VIP is a coaching and educational program. It is not psychotherapy, mental health counseling, crisis intervention, or a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.
Coaching focuses on helping you understand your thoughts and emotions, apply practical tools, change unhelpful patterns, communicate more intentionally, and decide how you want to move forward.
If you need clinical mental health care, medical care, legal advice, or crisis support, we will encourage you to seek help from an appropriately licensed professional.
What if I’m already in therapy?
You can participate in coaching while also working with a therapist, provided your therapist believes it is appropriate for you.
Therapy and coaching can serve different purposes. Your therapist may help you address mental health concerns or past trauma, while our coaching focuses specifically on helping you navigate your husband’s midlife crisis and apply practical tools to your current life.
Are replays available if I can’t attend live group coaching?
You do not have to spend another year waiting for his crisis to decide whether you get to live.
You can love him, leave room for hope, and begin building a life that feels like yours again.
